Dragonscales of Justice
From Infinite Earths
Dragonscales of Justice is a story universe created by Roehl Sybing. Set in a fictional, modern fantasy world, the story revolves around the members of the legendary Third Circle, a group of humans and mythical creatures whose job is to right wrongs and serve justice.
The Northern Continent Justice System
The Northern Continent, home to the largest group of humans and a growing immigrant population of elves, merfolk, minotaurs and other creatures from every other nation and territory, is the most populous region in the world. As the world's social and cultural center, its leadership is looked upon as a beacon of peace and justice.
The legal system of the Northern Continent is the most evolved and most sophisticated. The interests of the public are served by Circles of Counselors, whose duties are to investigate criminal wrongdoings and prosecute offenders within the bounds of the law.
The Third Circle of Counselors
The Counselors descend from a storied history of white knights that served the Northern Kings for over five centuries. The duty of bringing peace to the warring clans across the continent evolved into one of defending the unified kingdom against war and conflict. As modernization arrived and the continent became the educational center of the world, the knights enforced peace by writing and interpreting the laws that now govern the nation. Becoming the advocates of the people, the Counselors are now seen with a sword in one hand, and the Laws of Justice in the other.
Regent's Province, the capital region of the Northern Continent, falls under the jurisdiction of the Third Circle.
